Lansons has the become first UK communications consultancy to become a member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA).

Since its inception in 1989 Lansons has represented many hedge funds and alternative investment managers, while handling some of the largest corporate crises in the UK’s financial services sector. Becoming an AIMA member ensures that Lansons remains at the forefront of reputation management and stakeholder engagement at a time when the industry is facing ever-increasing scrutiny and regulatory challenges.

David Masters, board director and head of Lansons alternative and institutional practice, says: “Founded as a partnership and 100% owned by one third of its people, we fight for our clients’ and partners’ businesses because we are directly aligned. Armed with insight on the fronts AIMA is representing its members, we will be able, on behalf of AIMA, to contribute in everything we do from our public affairs dealings, through our digital and social media engagement to the constant dialogue we have with the media and investors. Both, AIMA and Lansons are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, this is indeed great timing to kick off yet another highly valuable relationship with the hedge funds’ industry body.”
