Pacific Fund Systems appoints Paul Kneen as COO

Pacific Fund Systems Limited (PFS), a provider of fully integrated fund accounting and administration software via the PFS-PAXUS application, has appointed Paul Kneen (pictured) as Chief Operating Officer (COO) with effect from 15 July, 2015. 

Kneen has gained over 25 years’ experience in the banking and financial services industry specialising in the fund and fiduciary sectors. Prior to joining PFS Paul was Chief Executive Officer of the Abacus Financial Services Group (AFSG) where he had overall responsibility for AFSG’s international operations across its regulated group companies. Kneen has previously held management positions with HSBC, Fortis and the Bank of Bermuda and was a director of International Corporate Management of Bermuda and Bermuda Commercial Bank, responsible for all day-to-day operations of each entity. 

Kneen has also held board positions on a wide range of international corporations and investment funds trading across all major asset classes including private equity, hedge funds and alternative investments. Paul holds a BA (Hons) in Business Communication, is a former Chairman of the IoM Funds Association, is a personally Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and a member of the Institute of Directors.
