Cordium launches new Tiered Services model in EMEA

Related Topics

Cordium, a provider of compliance consulting, accounting, tax and software to the financial services industry, is evolving its EMEA compliance offering to a tiered services model.

With a focus on improving the choice, quality, efficiency and consistency of their service to clients, Cordium’s EMEA compliance offering will now be structured according to four tiers. These range from Cordium Classic, which is the firm’s current service level, with the addition of three new service levels – Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.

For all levels, Cordium provides comprehensive compliance infrastructure and methodology, hosted within their proprietary software programme (Cordium Pilot). Consulting support is limited for Level 1, but becomes progressively higher through Levels 2 and 3, where Cordium consultants provide increasing compliance support to their clients. For example, when it comes to completing onsite compliance work, Level 1 will involve an annual health-check and review of policies and procedures, whereas Level 3 involves monthly or even weekly touchpoints. Level 3 would be more suited to firms with high volumes of compliance work whether inspired by their regulatory agenda or the breadth and complexity of their business. Clients are able to move up and down the levels as their needs change. Compliance ELF, Cordium’s employee supervision system that provides compliance intranet functionality, is available with all levels of service.

Providing compliance services underpinned by technology, Cordium’s compliance offerings are tailored to the varied needs of its clients within EMEA. The firm’s proprietary technology solutions allow clients complete visibility on the status of their compliance programme and to take an active role in governing their compliance process in a way that is not available in traditional compliance consulting models.

Stephen Burke (pictured), Managing Director of Cordium EMEA, says: “At Cordium we have always prided ourselves on being at the very forefront of our industry in terms of how compliance services are structured and delivered. The evolution to a tiered approach for our services in EMEA is the next step in this journey, offering more choice and capability to our clients. Both the regulators and investors are increasingly looking for more and more recorded evidence of good compliance cultures within investment firms. We believe that our technological solutions allow our clients to demonstrate a solid culture of compliance. We are committed to providing all of our clients with a truly personal compliance support service, tailored to their specific level of need and evolving as their needs change – it’s part and parcel of our dedication to excellence.”
