AI Insight makes two new senior-level hires

AI Insight, a specialist in alternative investment research, education and compliance documentation, has recruited Laura Sexton and Patrick McGowan to further develop the firm’s program management capabilities and expand relationships within the broker dealer and RIA communities.

Sexton will lead a team of analysts responsible for entering the Alternative Investment data that powers the AI Insight platform. McGowan will develop relationships within the broker dealer community and help broaden institutional growth opportunities with respect to AI Insight's RIA platform.

Sexton comes with a wealth of experience in the Alternative Investment industry. Prior to joining AI Insight, Laura was a Director for Snyder Kearney and SK Research, where she was responsible for due diligence of public and private real estate programs as well as real estate sector research. Prior to Snyder Kearney, Laura was a Senior Analyst at LPL Financial, covering the public and private real estate markets, alternative investment strategies and various traditional equity sectors. Laura has held the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 securities and life insurance licenses.
 
McGowan brings over ten years of Alternative Investment marketing and sales experience. Prior to joining AI Insight, Patrick was Vice President at Altegris where he secured allocations from institutional investors and partnered with blue-chip hedge funds, private equity, and real estate funds in sourcing public and private investors. Prior to Altegris, Patrick was at OppenheimerFunds where he partnered with major institutional DCIO and insurance firms to deliver investment vehicles and research. Patrick holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 3 licenses.
