SS&C Technologies Holdings has released its first round of 2016 product enhancements for Geneva, Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Moxy, Advent Rules Manager, Advent Revenue Center, Tamale RMS, and Tradex.

“We are dedicated to helping firms using our solutions maintain their competitive edge,” says Robert Roley (pictured), SVP Product and Client Experience, SS&C Advent. “Through continuous investment in the features, functionality, integrations, and emerging technologies, SS&C Advent continues to develop innovative upgrades that set our clients up for success, whether that’s reducing operational risk, increasing client satisfaction, or realising efficiencies that help grow their businesses. More clients than ever are looking to take advantage of the latest features. They are turning to our Professional Services organisation, SS&C’s team of experts, to successfully upgrade and enhance their client servicing capability and streamline internal workflows.”

Enhancements in this release of Geneva deliver a comprehensive expense management solution designed to streamline the configuration of commonly used calculations and automate the expense accrual process. Furthering the extensive Hybrid Fund capabilities within Geneva include workflow enhancements and timelines enabling users to easily drill through to complex details.

Upgrades to APX include improved data management and reporting capabilities to achieve greater operational efficiencies. Clients will also benefit from new standardised look-through reporting capabilities to more quickly address regulatory requirements such as AIFMD.

Expanded capabilities for Moxy and Advent Rules Manager include improved data management, workflow tools, and new and updated connectivity destinations. Most notably, a new trading venue has been created by a group of leading investment management firms that seeks to lower trading costs, enhance the transparency of trading protocols, and delivers improved performance to clients and continue to add to the extensive library of trading algorithm partners.

New configurable trade types allow Tradex to handle almost any type of transaction from dividends to capital calls and minimise customisation of workflows as well as relevant information to each user.

Biannual improvements to the product suite are released on a regular and predictable cycle – April and October each year. This first round of upgrades reflect direct requests from the Advent Community, an online ecosystem of clients, partners, employees, and experts.
