eVestment releases new version of analytics platform

Related Topics

eVestment has launched a revised version of its analytics platform which the company describes as a ‘re-imagining of how a big data solution should work and perform’.

According to eVestment, cloud-based technology has become ubiquitous in consumer and business realms. But many B to B solutions lag their consumer brethren in usability. Technology users now expect all their tech tools to be as efficient and intuitive as possible.

“Business data solutions obviously contain exponentially more data and functionality than consumer solutions, but they can’t be exponentially more complex,” says eVestment Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Matt Crisp. “Our clients have told us that usability is a major component of productivity, creating value and ramping up new users. We’ve listened to them, made major user experience investments and beta tested this new version with hundreds of clients to deliver one of the best data analytics platforms in the business.”

Analytics is one of eVestment’s most popular solutions and offers a full suite of tools for in-depth research, due diligence, peer-group comparisons, competitive analysis and reporting.

This release is the culmination of a major strategic investment for eVestment over the past two years and has involved hundreds of clients in different phases of design, testing and implementation.

This release has also benefited from the investment by eVestment to establish a user experience function with a senior leader to ensure even greater focus on usability for this effort and going forward.

“As client expectations about what technology can do and how solutions should function and evolve, eVestment is committed to being at the forefront,” says Crisp. “By thinking like the client in everything we do and working to understand their current needs and anticipate their future needs, we will continue to contribute to our clients’ success for years to come.”
