BCR Consulting to provide IR and PR services in Asia

Related Topics

Newly-launched BCR Consulting is aiming to provide publicly traded companies in China, Thailand, Singapore, Japan and other Asian countries with a broad range of investor relations and public relations services.

Focused on publicly traded companies, BCR Consulting says it is dedicated to fostering better access to capital, greater share liquidity, achieving fair market valuations and facilitating long-term shareholder value.

BCR’s services include financial community targeting and marketing, corporate communications, and internet and social media strategies.

“Over the years many China and Asia-based public companies have been poorly served by IR and PR firms whose efforts result in only short-term successes, without any consideration to fostering the long-term value of vital importance to CEOs, management teams and shareholders alike,” says Stephen M Riccio, founder and president. “BCR Consulting’s tenured experts have deep buy-side and sell-side expertise, combined with proven track records in investor relations and marketing communications. BCR’s tailored services can help bridge the gap between existing and prospective investors and public company management by building the trust and transparency needed between our clients and the capital markets.”

Over the last 30 years, Riccio has specialised in small and mid-cap companies as both an analyst and portfolio manager. Prior to forming BCR Consulting, Riccio formed Buyside Custom Research in 2004 where he led a team that provided domestic and international institutional buy-side investors “outsourced equity analyst” services including sector and industry analysis; detailed quantitative and qualitative individual company analysis; financial and valuation modelling; and buy/sell recommendations.

For the last 20 years, BCR’s director of investor relations and communications Lori D Bollinger worked in institutional equity sales at both Bankers Trust and Raymond James. During her time at these companies she provided research recommendations and advice to some of the largest, well known financial institutions such as hedge funds, mutual funds and banks. Her sales force responsibilities included the delivery of crucial investment information pertaining to a focused universe of companies under research coverage and new equity offerings.

In 2007, Bollinger joined Buyside Custom Research where she was responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing, business development and revenue growth.

With 20 years of experience, BCR’s media specialist Mitch Ackles (pictured) has executed campaigns for hedge funds, political and economic leaders, service providers, luminaries, conferences, charitable organisations and local, national and industry groups. Previously, Ackles was marketing director for vFinance, vice president of hedge fund capital introduction for Global Partners Group and worldwide marketing manager for Dow Jones TradeStation.
