He brings the foremost expertise in the legal management of hedge funds to the AKJ board, and we are thrilled to have him joining as we continue to grow, innovate and develop AKJ Accelerator, our hedge fund platform. This appointment underpins the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting the highest professional standards in everything we do including regulatory compliance and corporate governance”.

Mackay adds: “I am pleased to be joining the group board of AKJ which recently won a prestigious award for having the best hedge fund platform in Europe. The business plan is to continue to increase our assets under management and my focus will be on assisting the CEO in ensuring we have robust systems in place to manage AKJ’s significant expansion. Also as we drive forward we need to consider whether we expand beyond our current EEA boundaries. AKJ have an excellent well motivated staff and I look forward to working with them even more closely.”
