Damien Loveday joins Angelo Gordon in London

New York-based alternative investment firm Angelo Gordon has appointed Damien Loveday as managing director, investor relations.

Loveday will be responsible for enhancing and expanding the firm’s institutional relationships in the EMEA region.
 
Previously, he was global head of diversifying strategies for Willis Towers Watson.
 
Loveday will be based in London and report to Gareth Henry, managing director and global head of investor relations.
 
“Damien is a highly accomplished executive and we look forward to leveraging his deep relationships and alternative investment expertise as we further strengthen and expand Angelo Gordon’s global investor base,” says Henry. “We are confident he will be a valuable addition to the team as we continue to build out our investor relations programs in Europe and Asia. Before joining Angelo Gordon, Loveday worked at Willis Towers Watson for nearly a decade, where he was most recently global head of diversifying strategies. Earlier in his career at the company, he served as global head of hedge fund manager research, head of fixed income hedge fund manager research and senior researcher of fixed income strategies.
 
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in 2006, Loveday was a senior researcher for the Royal Bank of Scotland and was awarded a CFA Charterholder in 2004.
