SS&C Technologies has released a new web-based application for Tamale RMS, which is designed to provide a secure browser experience and help front office professionals connect with their research anytime, anywhere.

The release also features tools for viewing, filtering and searching within proprietary research, and a dynamic relationship tree to view correlated research.

Users can create new investment ideas and contacts remotely, attach documents and access plugins to Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications. Over 20 early adopter clients have embraced Tamale's new functionality.

The latest web application recently went live with Swift Run, a global investment manager and longstanding Tamale client. The adoption of new research capturing functionality enables Swift Run ubiquitous access to data for its mobile workforce. Users can now quickly capture research from anywhere at any time in the form of notes, emails and documents.

"Managers expect and need to be able to access research data anywhere, anytime," says Daniel Goodall, chief operating officer at Swift Run. "True business mobility means we can give employees the flexibility and workflows they need to be successful. Tamale is our single tool that organises and maintains the critical information that drives our investment decisions."

"Strengthening our existing relationship with Swift Run as an early adopter of Tamale's new web application is a big win," says Robert Roley (pictured), managing director and co-general manager of SS&C Advent. "Through Tamale, we provide front office users with a robust platform to power new experiences and deliver real-time research intelligence that lead to better investment decisions."
