Law firm Ortoli Rosenstadt (OR Law) has launched as the successor to New York City-based Sanders Ortoli Vaughn-Flam Rosenstadt.

“A new name often symbolises a major organisational change, but we prefer to see this not as a change but as an evolution,” says Richard Ortoli (pictured), head of the firm’s international and real estate practices.

OR Law will continue to provide legal advice in more than a dozen practice areas including trusts and estates, hedge funds, private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions and real estate.

“We are evolving by building a larger team of international experts focusing on cross-border corporate transactions, corporate immigration, real estate, international trusts and estates, litigation, and securities placements,” says Ortoli.

Ortoli is the head of the international and real estate practices, with 36 years’ experience representing foreign (European, Asian, and South American) and domestic clients in complex international transactions, international tax, real estate, intellectual property, litigation, and trusts and estates.

William Rosenstadt is the head of the capital markets and securities practice and co-head of the Asian practice, with 22 years’ experience representing entrepreneurs, public companies, hedge funds, private equity funds and other corporate entities in complex international and corporate transactions.

Marc Gottlieb is the head of the litigation practice, with 25 years’ experience in complex litigation, in particular, general business, family, and FINRA.

Paul Pincus is head of the staffing and employment practice, with 35 years’ experience in corporate, mergers and acquisitions, employment, and staffing.

Aldo Panunzio is head of the hospitality and immigration practice, with nine years’ experience in corporate immigration, EB-5 investor visas, real estate, and hospitality, focusing on Italian and South American markets.

Steven Sanders, a founding partner of the predecessor firm, with 42 years’ experience, will remain active in the firm, as counsel, in international transactions involving private and publicly traded companies, while focusing more of his time as a board member with various companies, in the US and abroad.

Jason Ye, co-chair of the Asia practice, assisted by Richard Liu, a lawyer admitted in China, will concentrate on expanding our Asian-based clientele.
