Related Topics

Pacific Fund Systems (PFS), a provider of fully integrated fund administration software via its PFS-PAXUS application, has appointed Didier Lucotte as cloud services manager in the firm’s European operations team.

Lucotte, who will based in the group’s Isle of Man office, is an experienced cloud project manager having previously served in this role with a UK listed telecoms company.

His role will encompass bringing the PFS-CLOUD initiative online and subsequently managing new and existing client migration onto the PFS-CLOUD.

As part of the new service PFS will offer its core software products, PFS- PAXUS and PFS-CONNECT via a vendor hosted and managed cloud deployment model, known as SaaS (Software as a Service).

PFS’ cloud based services will include automatic update of each new version release, development and maintenance of software interfaces (to allow automated data input and extraction feeds to connected software) plus overall environment management to ensure optimal remote performance.

Lucotte says: “I am delighted to be joining PFS to help build out and manage PFS’ technology in the cloud, as PFS positions itself for future growth utilising the latest technological advancements. Cloud delivery of PFS products will further allow PFS’ clients to focus on their core businesses, reducing overall dependence on internal or third party IT resources. With the number of online software-to-software application program interfaces expected to grow in scale and complexity as the wider software application industry moves to the cloud, I am very pleased to be joining PFS at such an exciting time in the group’s development.”

Paul Kneen (pictured), COO of PFS, says: “Didier’s wealth of specialist knowledge and experience will greatly benefit the groups planned delivery of PFS-PAXUS via the cloud, as a PFS hosted solution, targeted for launch later this year. Didier’s appointment reflects our continued investment in people and commitment to our business operations. Pacific Fund Systems remains focussed on the expansion of its global client base, and we will continue to build upon this client-centric, technology-led ethos, by seeking top talent to support the operational needs of the business as it continues to grow."
