During Oct. 19-26, 2011, Low Carbon Earth Summit 2011 (LCES-2011) was held in Dalian, China. The mayor of Dalian, Wancai Li delivered the welcome speech at the opening ceremony. The next WSEC will then be coupled with LCES-2012 (Oct 19-22, 2012 in Guangzhou, China) attracting thousands of top international participants.
