The savings level in the CEE region is one of the most important factors behind the increasing interest in structured products. Although the financial crisis did affect CEE it is important to mention that countries such as Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia are in a much better position than those in Western Europe. The reason for it is the highest level of consumption in Eastern Europe.
