Rushlight and Forbury Environmental invite you to attend the next in our series of Investor Briefings taking place on Thursday 15 May hosted by Ingenious Clean Energy at 15 Golden Square, London W1F 9JG starting at 17.30. This briefing presents: Investing in Energy & Water Infrastructure. There will be presentations from leading water and energy experts, a panel session, Q&A, together with the opportunity to network with investors, financiers, corporate customers, technology providers, service providers in the infrastructure supply chain, advisers and other followers of the sectors.
Rushlight and Forbury Investment Network are delighted to announce our next Investor Briefing: an evening that focuses on assessing the attractions of the energy and water infrastructure developments for investors and financiers.
One key area of clean technology that continues to develop without being derailed by changes to subsidy levels or major policy is infrastructure. For both water and energy, the drive for efficiency improvements, the changes to the sources of power generation and the demand for extending the existing network to service new housing all mean that the existing network for water and energy (electricity and gas) are being expanded, upgraded, technologically enhanced, made more smart and adapted to meet the new requirements.
Infrastructure is an attractive area for investment due to its fundamental need and reliability resulting in secure income flows, sizeable projects and known risk profiles, making it suitable for project finance and with the added benefit of its positive social, environmental and economic profile.
Ingenious Clean Energy are singular in their funding project equity in this space. Investments can include any of the following:
- Water pipes
- Sewerage pipes
- Electricity grid lines
- Substations, pumping systems, transformers, smart grid systems
- Gas pipelines
- Embedded generation infrastructure
- District heating and other localised energy systems
This event will take a good hard look at different types of infrastructure investment, its attractiveness to investors and financiers, the opportunities that exist going forward and the key issues to be managed.
