 Family offices are highly active in real estate, either leveraging the family’s industry experience or working closely with investment professionals to identify and capitalize on strategic and opportunistic investments.  According to recent data from Preqin, “80% of family offices invest directly in real estate…87% of family offices invest in private real estate funds and a further 4% will consider making such investments.”

This highly educational program will explore REITs and private real estate investing, including direct investments, club deals and investing through funds.  We will analyze the opportunities and challenges in this investment space - locally and globally - uncover new deal making strategies and identify the best practices to assure alignment with the family office’s goals, values, capabilities and desired levels of control.
