To chair this timely conference, we’re delighted to welcome David E. De Leeuw, managing director and co-founder of Lion Chemical Capital — a premier private equity firm that exclusively targets the chemical industry, with offices in Houston and New York City.
David has more than 30 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance. He was a founding partner at McCown & De Leeuw & Co., a pioneering private equity firm focusing on middle-market leveraged buyouts. It raised more than $1.2 billion in four funds and invested in 40 platform companies. Prior to founding McCown & De Leeuw in 1984, David worked in the leveraged acquisitions group at Citibank, and previously at W.R. Grace & Co., and Paine Webber in New York and Tokyo.
