Olivier Sciales is the founding partner of the law firm Chevalier & Sciales. He specializes in investment fund work focusing mainly on the structuring and implementation of hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds and real estate funds. Recent work includes advising clients with the set-up and implementation of Luxembourg umbrella sophisticated UCITS, non-sophisticated UCITS and specialised investment funds (SIF).  He has recently advised a SIF and a Luxembourg part II fund managed by a major US investment bank. He is furthermore advising an asset manager on the restructuring of an offshore master feeder structure into a Luxembourg master feeder UCITS IV structure.  Mr. Sciales is a regular speaker at conferences and has been recently speaking at the 2012 GAIM event in Monaco on the subject of the AIFM directive.  Rémi Chevalier is a founding partner of Chevalier & Sciales. His main practice areas are structured finance and investment funds. He has been involved in various complex securitization transactions such as total return swap securitization transactions for a value of approximatively 500 million USD and various Luxembourg true sale securitization transactions of a portfolio of US life settlements, premium finance loans and ILITs for institutional investors for a value of approximatively 300 million USD.
