Mr. Thornton has been in the Financial Services industry for over twenty-five years with extensive experience in management of hedge fund operations, technology integration and workflow optimization, strategic planning, compliance oversight, as well as capital introduction and client relationship development. With an emphasis on fund-of-funds and market nuetral equity portfolios, he has managed assets, developed financial investment strategies and performed portfolio construction analysis since 1987.  In 2002 he founded MadisonGrey Fund Services, which in  2010 was successfully sold and now is apart of Equinoxe AIS.

 Mr. Van der Pols is a co-founder of Circle Partners. Among others, he is a Managing Director of Circle Investment Support Services B.V., a company specializing in the formation and administration of alternative investment funds and trust services. Prior to founding Circle Partners Mr. Van der Pols worked for the Citco group of companies in the Netherlands Antilles, Switzerland and the Netherlands where he held senior positions in the group’s trust and fund services companies. Before joining the Citco group in 1990, Mr. Van der Pols had worked for over 7 years with Shell/Royal Dutch where he held several financial positions.
