EFG Securities Services (“EFGSS”) is a division of EFG Offshore Limited which is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission. We provide a full range of services to third party investment funds.

Our services embrace both closed and open-ended funds, investment vehicles structured as companies, cell companies, unit trusts and limited partnerships, and their associated structures and vehicles.

Administration, custodian, Channel Islands Stock Exchange (“CISX”) sponsorship and regulatory compliance services are provided to third party clients based in various jurisdictions, and to EFG Group funds. Our clients include major banks, investment houses, property specialists, private equity firms and alternative asset managers.

We are intimately familiar with the regulatory environments of various jurisdictions and add value to our clients by helping them navigate through these sometimes complex requirements.

EFGSS has been servicing fund structures for over 25 years and this experience leads us to be one of Jersey’s principal securities services providers. EFGSS has a high reputation for the servicing of specialist funds, particularly private equity and real estate, and has considerable experience in these sectors.

At the core of our service is the provision of a service team which is focused on each client. This ensures our staff develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of each structure, which allows them to manage the structure’s affairs in an efficient and professional manner.

Through offices in Cayman, Bahamas, Jersey, Guernsey and Singapore, EFGSS has the capabilities to support Funds established in various jurisdictions and a reach which spans global timezones. From our central hub of operations in Jersey we have the network, offices and resources to support clients around the world.

Ian Henderson

Managing Director

Ian has been involved in the finance industry for over 30 years; he holds a BSc degree and is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services. Ian started his career in the City of London, before moving to Jersey in 1995. He joined EFG Offshore in 2008 as Managing Director of EFG Securities Services. Ian has a wide range of experience across financial services businesses; in his current role he is actively involved with clients across a wide range of asset classes, and he sits on the boards of a number of funds, as well as the boards of a number of EFG companies.

Prior to joining EFG, Ian was an Executive Director of the largest Custodian in Jersey, which was a major provider of global custody, banking, fund administration and corporate trust services across the jurisdictions of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. That business was acquired in 2007 by a European based, global securities services business, from a large UK financial institution. At the time of acquisition Ian held the position of Deputy CEO of the Securities Services group and was head of the licensed Bank with day-to-day executive responsibility for its activities, which were the core business in the group. Prior to this, Ian was practice manager for a firm of lawyers in Jersey with a sizeable trust company subsidiary, and before that he spent 17 years with two well known global financial institutions, based in the City of London.

Neil Ginnis

As a Client Director, Neil has lead responsibility for a number of private equity and other fund clients in the UK and Europe. He also holds responsibility for EFG Securities Services’ fund administration IT platform, investor web portals and marketing communications.

Neil has been a resident of Jersey for over a decade. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with a ‘Big Four’ accountancy practice. His experience spans a number of areas of the finance industry, having been closely involved with fiduciary businesses, collective investment funds and private client structures.

Neil joined EFG Securities Services as Client Director in May 2008, having previously led the client accounting function for EFG Offshore's Private Clients business. Neil sits on the boards of a number of client entities and funds.

Neil is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Nigel Greenwood

Nigel is a Client Director for EFG Securities Services and EFG Fund Administration Limited providing fund, custody and stock exchange listing services to a wide range of EFG clients. Nigel sits on the boards of a number of EFG administered entities.

Nigel has worked within the financial services industry in Jersey and the UK for 23 years. Prior to joining EFG in 2007, Nigel worked for 10 years in the UK in the funds arena managing administration and accounting teams for a wide variety of fund structures. Prior to this, Nigel worked in Jersey on a wide variety of fund and trust structures in an accounting and administration capacity.

Nigel is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and a member of the Securities Institute.
