Oliver Bradley

Oliver Bradley

Oliver began his career as a research analyst at the London School of Economics Business Performance Group.  There he worked on a number of consultations with FTSE 100 companies and the European Union.

After three years as a research analyst, Oliver was one of the founding employees of Interactive Investor, a venture to bring financial information and products to the European retail online audience.  This was Europe’s first online financial portal attracting over 350,000 personal finance accounts and was listed on the LSE and NASDAQ in 1999 with a market capitalisation of £350 million.   It was a market maker and leader in online advertising and also at retail product distribution.  At Interactive Investor Oliver was responsible for the consultative sales and advertising sales teams and developed business relationships with leading investment managers and service providers across Europe.

 After five years at interactive investor, Oliver was recruited to work at IG Group plc. , the financial broker and world’s first spread betting firm, as a Director of e-commerce.  He was charged with broadening the company’s client base through developing and marketing an online trading interface to all its products.  

 After two years with IG Group, in 2002, Oliver left to set up GFM ltd. and has focused on the technological development and management of its websites, creating a specialised online team to expand and monetise its content worldwide.

With a background in marketing and communications, Hans began his writing career with Boersen, Denmark’s financial daily paper. After spending 7 years in the financial industry as an associate director working with some of the industry’s premier fund managers and financial institutions, he returned to writing full time. Born and raised in Hong Kong Hans has a solid cultural and political understanding of Asia. He caught the online bug early, and has been in the online/ digital media space since 1996, when he worked for the first personal finance website, (www.iii.co.uk). Prior to that he spent more than a decade working for News International, (selling print, financial advertising for The Times and Sunday Times).

Simon has been with Global Fund Media since 2007 and is responsible for selling our Special Reports, key account advertising, and has a passion for finding new ways to generate revenue. In his spare time he reads a lot, listens to music, and loves going for long walks in the country.
