Asia-Pacific ETP AUM increased by USD3.9bn last week and ended at USD107bn, according to figures released by Deutsche Bank. On a year-to-date basis, Asia-Pacific ETP market is up by USD19bn or 21% above last year’s closing.

NYSE Euronext joins CSHAK as special member

NYSE Euronext (NYX) has become the first special member of the Chinese Securities Association of Hong Kong (CSAHK). CSAHK provides a platform for strengthening relationships with prominent market participants in the region and NYSE Euronext will be the first international exchange to join the Association.

In its Q3 Investment Outlook ‘Gauging value’, published this week, ABN AMRO Private Banking upgrades hedge funds to Overweight from Neutral, citing global macro, CTA, relative value and event driven strategies as insurance against economic and policy risks. LME board recommends HKEx cash offer

LME Holdings, HK Investment (UK) Limited and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) have entered into a framework agreement regarding the terms of a recommended cash offer for the entire issued and outstanding ordinary share capital of LME Holdings by HKEx Investment, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of HKEx.
