Miranda Lansdowne has been appointed managing director of the JTC Luxembourg office.  Lansdowne recently relocated from Jersey to Luxembourg to head up the JTC office in Europe’s largest fund domicile.    Lansdowne has worked at JTC Group since 2007 as a group director of fund services overseeing the management of the fund administration teams in Guernsey, Jersey, Luxembourg and the UK.    Further to her JTC responsibilities, she supervises the provision of services to several key private equity fund clients and holds a number of directorships in the funds sector.    Lansdowne will continue with her group responsibilities in addition

Pershing Square Holdings (PSH), a closed end fund that is an active investor and owner of large minority stakes in North American, large-capitalisation public companies, has listed on Euronext’s Amsterdam market. PSH was listed through the admission to trading of 250,253,351 public shares on Euronext Amsterdam.   The admission of these shares follows a USD2,73 billion placement of new shares issued by Pershing Square Holdings Ltd to non-US institutional and professional investors. The placement may raise capital of up to USD3 billion if the over-allotment option is exercised. Clearstream is opening its new office in Cork, Ireland this week, following the company’s acquisition of Citco’s hedge fund sub-custody business for financial institutions in April 2014. The business transition took place on 5 October 2014 with the integration of 300 former employees of Citco Global Securities Services (CGSS) Ltd in Cork into Clearstream’s Investment Fund Services division. The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for September 2014 measured 0.24 per cent. Wolf Hedge, a management company for Seven Sages Long Short Fund, has launched its second fund, Wolf Hedge Global LP. The fund's registration has been filed in Delaware and the Cayman Islands.   Wolf Hedge will be taking subscriptions of USD1 million+ from accredited and institutional investors.   The fund, which is open to investors, will use a global macro trading strategy.
