Stamford, Connecticut-based Aladdin Capital Holdings has announced the appointment of William Fish as a senior managing director in its global loan group. He will be based in the firm's Stamford headquarters and report to vice-chairman and chief investment officer Neal Neilinger.
'Aladdin is systematically taking steps to expand its platform for what we see are new opportunities in the marketplace,' says Neilinger (pictured). 'Bill Fish is a well known, highly respected loan market veteran with an impeccable track record and we see this as a very significant hire for Aladdin.'
Fish was previously head of global loans and transaction services and a member of the executive committee at Dresdner Kleinwort, overseeing all international lending, leverage finance, loan syndications, loan sales and trading, trade finance, correspondent banking, and international cash management.
He joined Dresdner Kleinwort in 2001 from Citigroup, where he was a managing director and head of loan sales and syndications. Over a 15-year career at Citigroup Fish held various senior positions in its loan syndications business in Los Angeles and New York.
Established in 1999, Aladdin Capital is an alternative investment management firm that focuses on non-traditional fixed income-based strategies.
