Jersey Corporate Services launches business development service

Related Topics

Jersey Corporate Services (JCS) has launched an outsourced business development service called Prospect.

The new services, which aims to help service providers foster relationships across the globe, has already attracted attention from foreign clients as well as those closer to home.

The new business development team at JCS manages a database in excess of 10,600 international contacts, giving Prospect subscribers access to business opportunities and specialist service providers tailored to their own specific needs, in all corners of the globe.

Vernon Breese (pictured), founder of JCS, says: “I’ve been travelling for some time now bringing new business to Jersey wherever I could, but I saw that no single financial services group offered every service, indeed that would be difficult and so it crossed my mind that working for many Jersey service providers contemporaneously would make a lot of sense. In this way I had access to every service available in Jersey and therefore, so did my clients abroad.

“The only way to do that was to establish a business independently and produce a programme like Prospect to which local service providers could subscribe in return for new business leads and introductions.

“It works rather well because each Prospect member can, to all intents and purposes, ‘place orders’ with JCS for say trust or foundation leads or fund leads. The orders today are already many and varied, some ask for real estate or private equity fund opportunities others for access to investor sources or specialist service providers in faraway territories – all we do is go out and find them.”
