Law firm Dechert’s financial services group has launched a web page that brings together a selection of resources designed to address issues concerning the EU Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
Dechert believes that AIFMD represents the most significant EU regulation of the alternative investment funds industry in recent times, which will impact a wide range of asset managers, not just traditional hedge and private equity managers, whether they are based in the EU or outside.
Dechert’s new AIFM resources include the AIFM Matric, which explains marketing, management and implementation for EU and non-EU AIFMs and the AIFMD Marketing Chart, which sets out the AIFMD EU and non-EU passport and private placement regimes.
