She will bring with her extensive knowledge of hedge funds operations to the boards she is appointed to. Her experience of the hedge funds industry, of corporate governance and the local requirements of fund boards will be of great value to our clients.”

John Donohoe, chief executive of Carne Group, says: “Carne’s policy is to limit the number of relationships each director takes on and provide a low volume, high involvement model. Hence, as demand for our services from fund managers and investors has grown, we are expanding our Cayman Islands presence commensurately. Vanessa’s arrival and the move to larger premises are the result of our appeal to clients with an interest in establishing first-class governance standards for their Cayman fund boards.”
