ACOLIN Fund Services, legal representative and service provider for international fund providers, is expanding its business to Western Switzerland and opening a branch office in Geneva.

Financial services specialist Eric Micheloud is heading the new office.

ACOLIN Fund Services, headquartered in Zurich, opens a branch in Geneva, in addition to its offices in Lugano, Luxemburg, London and Madrid, so as to serve the French-speaking clients and professional investors locally. As a consequence of the revised Collective Investment Schemes Act, demand for legal representation and distribution to qualified and non-qualified investors from financial intermediaries based in Western Switzerland is increasing.

The Geneva office is the result of the company’s cooperation with Compagnie Privée de Conseils et d’Investissements (CPCI), a Geneva asset management group.

The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA has recently approved the opening of the new office.

Daniel Häfele (pictured), chief executive of ACOLIN, says: “Our expansion to Geneva is a long-term commitment and is based on the strong demand for our comprehensive service offering, which sets us apart from our competitors. Due to his experience of many years in the Geneva financial centre Eric complements our highly competent and qualified team ideally.”
