Hedge Fund Research (HFR) and Risk-AI have teamed up to launch a mobile application, HFR2GO, for iPad and iPhone, which allows users to track global hedge fund industry performance by strategy and region of investment.
HFR2GO was developed from the combination of HFR’s hedge fund database and Risk-AI’s technology.
Investors, hedge funds, and service providers can access the full suite of HFR Indices via their mobile devices to gain insight into the performance of the hedge fund industry. With over 110 indices available, there is a wealth of statistics on all key sectors. In total, more than two decades of index performance histories are delivered along with three new updates per month.
HFR Database subscribers who are pre-qualified as “accredited investors” can access a deeper layer of content comprising over 7,100 hedge fund and managed futures investment profiles. Additionally, all of the widely used HFRI and HFRX indices have look-through features enabling qualified clients to access recent index constituents.
“HFR2GO enables investors, fund managers and industry professionals to access the highest quality hedge fund information, research and indices directly through our sophisticated mobile app, enabling convenient, timely analysis and improved, informed allocation decisions,” says Kenneth Heinz, president of HFR. “HFR2GO provides the flexible delivery format required by a wide range of users, leveraging HFR’s content leadership and Risk-AI’s deep analytical experience with risk technology systems.”
Risk-AI has developed an intuitive interface with dynamic features, including: (i) heat maps of strategy performance, (ii) manager locator functionality and (iii) easy to read fund profiles. From stress tests to market regime analysis, there are valuable tools in this app for a wide range of investment professionals.
“The combination of HFR content with Risk-AI-powered technology makes this new app a must-have for institutional investors and hedge funds,” says Aleksey Matiychenko, chief executive of Risk-AI. “Hedge fund research on mobile devices has taken a bold leap forward with the release of HFR2GO.”
