Stephens International, an executive search consultancy focused on the global (re)insurance and financial markets, has appointed Jeremy Kemp as a director.
Kemp will lead the company’s coverage of the asset management, capital markets, derivatives and insurance-linked securities/alternatives space.
Mark Stephens, who established the business in 2009, has linked with Kemp to enable the specialist search and consultancy firm to serve the changing needs of its (re)insurance and financial markets clients.
Kemp will lead the business coverage for asset management, capital markets, derivatives and alternatives and ILS, having served these markets since 1997.
“Jeremy and I have already worked together formally and informally,” says Stephens. “It became increasingly clear there was a need for us to address our evolving markets so it made sense for us to join forces. Jeremy’s appointment brings the team strength to five, which includes the appointment of another established consultant who will be joining imminently.”
Kemp says: “I have known Mark for some time, not least due to his reputation for sound, thoughtful and incisive advice to decision makers across the (re)insurance market. In many ways he sets the standard, and it is at that level of quality where we operate together. We have achieved much already but this is merely the start.”
