London-based Attica Portfolio Management Limited has changed its name to Attica LJH Investment Management Limited as part of a joint venture between the two firms.
The joint venture is being created to take advantage of forthcoming opportunities in Europe. Florida-based LJH Global Investments' President James R. Hedges, IV, said: "The name change solidifies the European-based partnership between LJH and Attica, which provides a powerful portfolio solution to clients who seek to capitalize on today's hedge fund opportunities."
LJH Global Investments, LLC was founded in 1992 by James R. Hedges, IV to manage private assets and to advise private investors, financial institutions, and registered investment advisers on the development of fund of hedge funds strategies.
Attica Asset Management's Chief Executive Officer and founder Robert van Maasdijk heads Attica's alternative investment division.
He said further announcements on the scope of the joint venture will be made once regulatory approval for the name change is in hand.
