Aspect Capital, the London-based systematic investment manager, has appointed Eduardo Deschapelles to the position of senior North American sales executive.
Deschapelles will focus on further developing Aspect’s institutional sales efforts in the US and will report to John Wareham (pictured), Aspect’s chief commercial officer.
Deschapelles joins Aspect from Meridian Capital Partners of New York, where he was a partner and business development manager.
Prior to this he was an employee of Permal Group, part of the Legg Mason Group, from 2004 to 2008. He was most recently senior vice president, responsible for the development and management of the firm’s institutional client relationships.
Deschapelles has over 25 years of experience in alternative investments through various positions held at Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan Chase.
