Mark Mannion returns to PFPC as Managing Director

PFPC Worldwide Inc., a member of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. confirmed it has named Mannion Managing Director for its Dublin, Ireland-based fund administration services affiliate, PFPC International Ltd.

Mannion, who served with PFPC International Ltd. from 1998-2004 as senior director of fund administration, will now be responsible for directing the strategic and operational development of PFPC’s global organisation. He will report to Stephen M. Wynne, president of PFPC.

Mannion brings to PFPC International’s top position more than 15 years of experience in fund administration and product development for global funds.  Prior to his return to PFPC, he was director, head of fund services, UBS, Ireland and also served with Bank of Bermuda (Dublin) and KPMG. "We are delighted that Mark has returned to PFPC International," said Wynne.  "His expertise and vast knowledge of industry trends and challenges, combined with his established relationships with PFPC International clients and staff members, make him the perfect choice to manage our growing and successful international operations."

PFPC also announced that Diarmuid  O’Donovan has accepted the position of information technology manager for PFPC International.  O’Donovan will direct and manage the strategic development, infrastructure and deployment of PFPC International’s information technology systems. He will report to Greg Stiles, senior business information officer for securities services, PFPC.

O’Donovan joins PFPC from JP Morgan where he was responsible for all technology operations in Dublin.  "PFPC takes pride in its ability to offer clients access to some of the best-trained, most talented professionals in financial services. Diarmuid’s skills and understanding of the industry will greatly enhance our professional capabilities," said Wynne.

PFPC offers fund accounting and administration, transfer agency, custody and sub-accounting services for USDF 1.8 trillion in total assets and more than 59 million shareholder accounts.  PFPC International, a subsidiary of PFPC, has served the international funds community since 1993.  PFPC International has offices in Dublin and County Wexford, Ireland and Luxembourg.
