Old Mutual Asset Managers (UK) Limited (OMAM) has appointed Dermot Keegan as Managing Director of its institutional business.
Keegan joins OMAM from ABN Amro Investment Management, where he has worked since 1998 as Head of Institutional UK, having previously held senior positions at Henderson Global Investors and NatWest Investment Management.

One third of our total assets are currently managed on behalf of institutional clients globally, with most of the new mandates won over recent years being into specialist high performance and absolute return products. It is our strategic intention to continue to grow this part of our business, using our established expertise UK and global equities, hedge funds and structured products.’
