RGT Advisors LLC has chosen Pinnacle Alternative Investments LLC to launch the firm’s introduction of its RGT Onshore LLC diversified fund to institutional and high net worth investors on a global basis.
RGT Advisors is a professional Commodity Trading Advisor headquartered in New York City and manages the unique and highly successful RGT Onshore Fund, a proprietary diversified commodity and futures strategy that is also offered to qualified investors in a managed account format. RGT Onshore is a long biased, long volatility futures fund that employs an active hedging component that targets annual compounded returns of 10%-15% annually and volatility of less than 3% annually. RGT projects capacity for the Fund and managed accounts combined to exceed USD 1 billion. In the first 14 months of trading the Fund has achieved an annual compounded return of better than 10%, with an annual volatility of less than 2%.
Two long-time industry professionals own and manage the advisor: David Gasner and Jon Siegel. Mr. Gasner has 27 years of experience in the financial markets and 18 years of direct portfolio management responsibility as manager of the risk arbitrage departments for Plaza Securities, Dillon Read and most recently, Toronto Dominion Bank, where he served as Managing Director. During his last 15 years in private banking Gasner managed in excess of USD 400 million with average annual returns above 15% and no down years. He is a graduate of Columbia University in Economics and Mathematics and was a Fulbright Scholar at Cambridge University, as well as a National Science Foundation Scholar at MIT.
Siegel has more than 25 years of management experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with Merrill Lynch and served in executive management positions with EF Hutton, Geldermann, Inc, Daiwa Securities, ING Barings and Peregrine Financial Group. Siegel has extensive experience in the areas of administration, risk management and compliance and will oversee these responsibilities for RGT. Siegel is a graduate of Yale University, with a BA in Economics.
