The Conifer Group has completed a corporate reorganisation that results in a separation of the broker/dealer and fund administration businesses.
United under The Conifer Group, the affiliated entities are Conifer Fund Services and Conifer Securities.
The Conifer Group is a provider of middle office solutions, trading, prime brokerage and fund administration services to the hedge funds industry.
“Our focus continues to be on providing the most comprehensive suite of services for the hedge fund industry. Our business has steadily grown in terms of clients’ assets and complexity of products we support. As demand for customized solutions has grown, we felt the need to focus on resourcing each of these businesses independently to better serve the increasing demands of our evolving client base and their investors,” says Jack McDonald (pictured), president and chief executive of The Conifer Group.
Conifer’s assets under administration increased by more than 50 per cent in the past 15 months.
In addition, the company recently received a renewal of its SAS 70 Type II certification for Conifer Fund Administration’s US and the British Virgin Islands operations.
