Cayman Islands law firm Turner & Roulstone has announced the opening of a City of London office in Cornhill from which partner Gavin Lowe, newly recruited from Ogier, will provide legal advice.

‘We are pleased to provide our clients with a London office from which to service their UK needs,’ says managing partner Alan Turner. ‘Gavin Lowe has a wealth of experience in investment and private equity funds, structured finance and capital market transactions.’

Turner and Sharon Roulstone formed Turner & Roulstone in 2003. Although a relatively young firm, the founding partners have many years experience practising law and operating businesses in the Cayman Islands.

Turner was admitted as a Cayman attorney in 1988. He was a senior associate of Walkers between 1988 and 1993, and a senior partner at the firm between 1993 and 2001.

Roulstone, also previously a senior associate at Walkers, was admitted as a Cayman attorney in 1996. In addition to recruiting lawyers from top Cayman firms, Turner & Roulstone has also recruited lawyers from leading overseas practices.

The firm’s clients include other international law firms, large financial institutions, investment banks, international trust companies, fund managers, administrators, insurance managers, accountants and auditors, insolvency practitioners and high net worth individuals.
