Mourant International Finance Administration has appointed John Wiencek as the managing director of its New York office and as the head of US fund administration.

Mourant International Finance Administration has appointed John Wiencek as the managing director of its New York office and as the head of US fund administration.

Mourant specialises in providing third-party fund accounting, reporting, administrative, and US tax compliance services to alternative investment funds, including private equity, real estate, and fund of funds.

Operating from 11 locations worldwide, Mourant is responsible for administering funds with committed capital exceeding USD170bn.

Wiencek (photo) has more than 20 years of experience in the funds market and his career has included periods at Coopers & Lybrand, SS&C Technologies, BISYS, and private equity funds. He has been admitted to the bar of New York and Connecticut.
