JP Morgan adds Form PF capabilities to alternatives product suite

Related Topics

JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services has added reporting capabilities for Form PF, the Securities and Exchange Commission’s new regulatory filing for registered investment advisers, to its suite of services.

The new reporting capability will provide clients with access to business critical information allowing them to meet this regulatory requirement.

Form PF is designed to assist the Financial Stability Oversight Council in its assessment of systemic risk in the US financial system. The new SEC rule requires investment advisers registered with the SEC that advise one or more private funds and have at least USD150m in private fund assets under management to file Form PF with the SEC, with larger advisers required to complete more detailed reporting.

This capability will allow advisers to receive client level Form PF data, enabling them to complete the Form PF data compilation and filing using their own systems. Additionally, clients will have the option of working with a selected third-party to receive the full end-to-end-solution. Clients using this offering will be able to manage their reporting workflow and automate their Form PF processes in a scalable and auditable format.

Stephanie Miller (pictured), global head of alternative investment services for JP Morgan WSS, says: “We are very pleased to be launching this new product as we are now able to provide clients with a range of options for Form PF solutions support, including investor fund level information.”
