Michael Milmoe named alternative investment business development officer for US Bancorp Fund Services

US Bancorp Fund Services has named Michael Milmoe senior vice president and alternative investment business development officer. 

Based in San Francisco, Milmoe specializes in alternative asset structures, administration, custody services and fund technology. 

“Mike is an exceptional addition to our West Coast staff to support alternative investment management firms,” says Bob Kern, executive vice president and director of business development for US Bancorp Fund Services. “His extensive financial services background in alternative investment administration provides a valuable resource to hedge fund, fund of funds and private equity managers, including innovative solutions for fund valuation, financial reporting, compliance, tax, investor services, and custody and treasury services. We are seeing significant interest from alternative managers in U.S. Bank’s asset servicing capabilities, and Mike’s experience will be critical to continuing our consultative support to this important market.” 
 
Milmoe brings more than 20 years of relationship management, marketing, compliance and new business development experience to his role at US Bancorp Fund Services. Most recently, Milmoe worked for JP Morgan as the executive director of worldwide securities services supporting complex products through comprehensive service offerings. Milmoe is credited for improving client experiences by successfully implementing new technology platforms and re-engineering front-back and middle office operating models. Milmoe directed new business development efforts for the asset servicing division where he marketed a suite of product, technology and services to support diverse client needs including custody, alternative investment administration and securities lending. Milmoe also lead the business development programs for Financial Interactive, and was sales director for Advent Software, Inc. 
 
Milmoe earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
