RiverRock European Capital Partners has acquired a controlling stake in Chenavari Financial Advisors, the broker-dealer business of Chenavari Financial Group.
The transaction was completed on 17 May 2013 and the business has been renamed RiverRock Securities (RRS).
Established in 2009, RRS is an advisory firm specialising in OTC derivatives and structured products as well as fundraising and distressed assets advisory.
With this acquisition, RiverRock is diversifying its core asset management business into securities brokerage and generating new avenues of growth.
