Argonaut Capital Partners, a specialist in managing European equities, has appointed George Adam as regional sales manager.
Adam joins the firm from Cazenove Capital Management, where he was a discretionary sales manager with responsibility for the North of England, Scotland, the Isle of Man and Ireland.
He formerly held positions with Aegon Asset Management as a business development consultant and RBS, where he was an investment manager. Adam has also enjoyed spells with Standard Life Investments, F&C Investments and First State Investments.
Adam will be responsible for accounts in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland. In his new role, he will be supported by Andrew Nickson, senior investor relations, and report to head of UK sales Dennis Pellerito.
Pellerito says: “We have been looking to make an appointment in the North for some time now, and in George, we have identified an experienced sales professional, capable of promoting Argonaut’s expertise and proven track record in managing European equities in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland – areas where we have existing clients, who should have direct access to Argonaut. The appointment represents another important step as we look to bring new investors in to the Argonaut funds.”
