Over 130 professionals from the Dutch alternative finance community have raised almost EUR20,000 for the Alternatives 4 Children foundation at a Spring Party Event at the SupperClub Cruise Boat.
Since inception, Alternatives 4 Children has raised over EUR250,000 in total.
This support will enable Alternatives 4 Children to contribute to the running costs of different small projects, such as a slum school in Bangalore, or a school community in Kamitei (Tanzania).
"Again, the Dutch Alternatives Community has demonstrated that they are able to get together at the alternatives social event of the year as well as give back to society,” says Marc de Kloe, head of alternative investments at ABN Amro and co-founder of the Alternatives 4 Children Foundation. “It amazes me that we are growing from year to year. This would not be possible without the help of our many volunteers who support our cause as well as the organisations that generously donate. This is why we can make a difference."

The next event which Alternatives 4 Children organises for the Dutch financial alternatives community is the gala dinner on 3 October in Sofitel The Grand in Amsterdam.
