The Credit Suisse Liquid Alternative Beta Index was up 1.67 per cent in July, according to Dr Jordan Drachman, head of alternative beta strategies at Credit Suisse.
The long/short equity strategy was the strongest performer for the month, finishing up 3.61 per cent in July.
The Managed Futures Liquid Index was the only strategy in negative territory for the month with a return of -1.20 per cent.
