Commodities hedge fund Sadrian Bownman selects TFG Complete

Related Topics

Sadrian Bowman, a discretionary commodities hedge fund investing across energy, metals and agriculture markets, has selected TFG Complete for real time risk, portfolio and cash management services.

Sadrian Bowman is founded by Luke Sadrian, Andrew Bowman and Stuart Atkinson who bring extensive experience gained from Brevan Howard, GLG and most recently Moore Capital. The fund required a robust, institutional grade platform to support its risk management processes and parameters.

Atkinson says: “Our requirement was for a real-time risk and PnL platform which could support the assets we trade across the energy, metals and agriculture markets. Having looked at a number of different systems we chose TFG for it’s in depth knowledge of the markets we trade and their ability to solve the problem of illiquid commodities where there is no pricing across the curve. The flexibility in pricing different instruments enables you to choose the inputs and attach a theoretical price, users can choose the exact future/ front future or anywhere on the curve, and for each different commodity you can choose the inputs. TFG are an entrepreneurial company with a responsive and helpful support team.”

Martin Toyer, chief executive, TFG Systems, says: “We are delighted that a fund with a management team as experienced as Sadrian Bowman has selected TFG Complete as its trading and risk management platform. The flexibility of TFG’s software enables detailed, accurate and timely risk measures for many different styles of portfolio; we are careful to correctly model all assets including the commodity products that Sadrian Bowman invest in. We remain committed to supporting our clients, irrespective of asset class, to enable them to monitor risk measures and performance for any subset of their portfolio.”
