Ken Goodreau joins FlowPoint Capital Partners as CIO

Ken Goodreau has joined FlowPoint Capital Partners as chief investment officer and portfolio manager.

FlowPoint has also hired Nick Trotman as chief operating officer and portfolio manager.
 
Goodreau will be responsible for leading the FlowPoint investment strategy as well as consultant relations and marketing. He brings 20 years of experience in investment management to the firm.

Before joining FlowPoint, Goodreau was chief investment officer at Tiedemann Investment Group, where he oversaw a USD1.8 billion multi-strategy hedge fund. From 2006 to 2012, Goodreau was chief investment officer for the USD7 billion State of Rhode Island Employee Retirement System. From 2005 to 2006 Goodreau was portfolio manager and general partner of Knollwood Capital Partners, an independent hedge fund.
 
Trotman has 15 years of experience in investment management, specialising in business process and portfolio management. Before joining FlowPoint, Trotman managed an equity income strategy for a Connecticut-based investment advisor. Prior to that, he spent eight years as a portfolio manager and analyst in equity research, including four years (2000-2003) working with Trafton.
