Sigma Analysis & Management has appointed Dr Ranjan Bhaduri as chief research officer to expand the firm’s strategic capabilities in the hedge fund space.
Sigma has been working with large pension plans for 15 years to redefine the standards of transparency and provide a deeper dive approach built on rigorous analytics in hedge fund investing.

Bhaduri brings over 15 years of hedge fund industry experience featuring advanced quantitative research, portfolio risk management and thought leadership to Sigma. He was previously the chief research officer at AlphaMetrix Alternative Investment Advisors, where he designed and led an institutional due diligence and research programme. Previously, he was a vice president and served on an investment committee at Morgan Stanley where he conducted hedge fund due diligence and helped design customised portfolios of alternatives.
