Alliance International, an affiliate of Asset Alliance, has hired Aurum Funds’ Emily Porter as a Senior Analyst.
Ms. Porter is responsible for manager selection and monitoring of managers for the firm’s affiliate manager program and fund-of-funds offerings. She reports to James Parker, recently appointed Managing Director and Head of Asset Alliance International.
“Emily has proven that she has the skill-set to effectively monitor and identify promising hedge fund managers,” said Parker. “She is an important addition to our growing team in London.”
Ms. Porter was most recently a Senior Analyst at Aurum Funds Limited in London, where she identified equity hedge, event driven, distressed/high yield and Asian hedge fund managers for inclusion in Aurum products. Prior to that, Ms. Porter was a hedge fund analyst at ABN AMRO in London where she focused on manager selection and portfolio management.
She graduated from Southampton University with a Bachelor of Laws, and has received both Investment Management and Securities & Financial Derivatives Certifications.
