Allium Capital expands relationship management team

Advisory group Allium Capital has strengthened its relationship management function with the appointment of Lindsay Coates.

Coates, who was previously at Cofunds UK, has spent many years working in Australia in senior relationship management and training roles for companies such as Macquarie Wrap.

In this role she supported companies such as the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Suncorp, plus undertook activities in support of Australia’s largest adviser groups such as Shadforth Financial Group and Professional Investment Services.

Prior to this she was at Deutsche Bank UK in sales and operational roles.

Toby Denne, director and co-founder of Allium Capital, says: “As Allium grows it is important for us to keep up the same high level of focus, support and training we have already been recognised for by leading industry partners and the main distribution groups. We head-hunted Lindsay to a role that is strategically important for Allium during an incredible period of growth for the company during 2010. She joins us at an exciting time when UK investors are questioning the costs associated with fund management, and more traditional investment businesses are giving way to next generation investment companies.”

Coates will work closely with the board at Allium to advise on client relationship management and will assist client companies better identify business practices, processes, new propositions.

Coates will also support third party staff training on new investment products UK wide.
