Fortis appoints Den Bosch as director of currency management

Dennis van den Bosch is to join Fortis Merchant Banking in Amsterdam as director of currency management.

Van den Bosch, who is due to assume his new role on 1 March, has worked with Mn Services since 1996, where he was the Head of Treasury. Mn Services manages pension assets well over EUR 30 billion and van den Bosch was responsible for running the in-house currency absolute return mandate and the strategic currency-hedging program. In addition he was responsible for selecting external currency managers and global tactical asset allocation managers. Furthermore, he was responsible for capital markets deal execution, including equity and fixed income derivatives.
